What we do, and what we don’t

We are a commercial finance consultancy. We arrange finance for business purposes only and are remunerated by the funder on settlement. We are not a funder and we do not lend our own money. We do not provide credit assistance for personal, domestic or household purposes.

Because we arrange only business-purpose finance, our services fall outside the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009 (Cth), and the consumer protections under that Act — including the Best Interests Duty — do not apply to our services. We are not a funder, and we do not make credit decisions. All applications are assessed and approved by the funder.

Information on this site is general

Everything published here is general in nature. It does not take account of your objectives, financial situation or needs, and it is not financial, legal, taxation or investment advice. It is not an offer of credit, and it is not a commitment to lend.

We are not licensed to give financial product advice, investment advice or taxation advice. You should obtain your own advice from a qualified professional before acting on anything published here.

Rates, amounts and timeframes

Any rates, loan amounts, loan-to-value ratios, approval times or settlement timeframes shown on this site are indicative only. They:

• Vary between funders, products, industries and individual circumstances
• Are subject to change without notice
• Do not constitute a quote, an offer, or a pre-approval
• Are subject in every case to funder assessment, credit approval, satisfactory security and the funder's terms and conditions

Where a deal note or example transaction is shown, it describes a specific past transaction and its particular circumstances. Past transactions are not a guarantee or prediction of any future outcome.

Accuracy

We take care to keep this site accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate or up to date. Lending policies change frequently and without notice. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss arising from reliance on information published here.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

This site may link to third-party websites. We do not control those sites, do not endorse them, and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Intellectual property

The content, design, logos and trade marks on this site are owned by Stargaze Pty Ltd or used under licence. You may view and print pages for your own business use. You may not reproduce, republish or use them commercially without our written permission.

Your enquiry

When you submit an enquiry, you confirm that the information you have given is true and correct, and that the finance you are seeking is wholly or predominantly for business purposes. Making a declaration about the purpose of credit that you know to be untrue is an offence under the National Credit Code. We handle the information you provide in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Submitting an enquiry does not create any obligation on us to act for you, and does not create a client relationship until we confirm one.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that jurisdiction.
